Abstract

The researchers, through study and analysis, in this study reviewed a group
of works as an intended sample of Libyan photography influenced by Islamic
decorative elements. In conclusion, we concluded that contemporary Libyan
photography has a strong relationship with Islamic art in general, and
decorations in particular. As the Libyan photographers were inspired by the
Islamic motifs of all kinds, that each of them employed it in his own style and
method for photography, some were pictures in the realistic style, others were
in the abstract style and also the symbolic and expressive style, and some
were inspired by the impressionist style, and in the end it is not important in
any styles, but the subject's inspiration from Islamic arts is the most important
One of the importance of the research is that the decorative elements in
Islamic art have an impact on the contemporary Libyan photographer, as the research aims to narrate the Islamic decorative elements and identify their
secrets in Islamic art.
