Abstract

This is a subjective study that manifests the role of Islam in rescuing communities from tearing apart to unity and peace. The significance of the study is demonstrated in finding resolutions for a national reconciliation upon which it fights unjust and hate and also shows the evidentiality of the Shari'a provisions attesting to such principles. On the other side, the study encompassed the impact of the Qur'an and the purified Sunnah on unity and peace of the Muslim community inspired by attitudes of the companions of the prophet (peace be upon him).As for the methodology, the researcher adopts the inductive and analytical method in which he reaches a several findings which are; reconciliation can be achieved by the resort to the firm adjudication ignoring political and tribal prejudices. Furthermore, the study sheds the light on the importance of the conducting dialogues within the various categories of people and the vital role of the media that has to be positive and in favor of the national reconciliation
