Abstract

Poetry is one of the ancient arts known to man throughout the era. As it was used to record the nations' life in many and varied ways, according to the occasion, it was used in self-defense, society, against enemies, inflaming enthusiasm in wars, and singing about glories and civilizations. poetry was primitive in the form of short stanzas or turbulent verses and evolved until it reached its current form of elegant formulation of language in the forms and methods in which poets and writers are creative.From here, this study aims to identify the concept of poetry, which has conflicting opinions and multiple trends about its nature, which reflects the poet's inner potentials, expressing his feelings and emotions that he lived through in poetic artistic images. However, opinions are almost agree about its uses throughout the ages, since it is an emotional response that reflects aspects of the poet's life in the environmental surroundings around him. The poet was a mirror of his time, a blogger of his history, a praiser of his glories, a depiction of his personal life and flirtation with his beloved. creating in the recipient the beautiful effect that the poet seeks through the use of the queen of imagination and the creation of the aesthetics of poetic images.
