Abstract

The book "Al-Mahalla" by Ibn Khurram Al-Dhaheri (456 AH) is one of the most prominent fruits of the fifth century AH in the jurisprudential classification in Andalusia in particular, and that its author wrote it in the light of a strong authorship movement represented by the great Maliki jurists, headed by Ibn Abd al-Barr (- 463 AH) through his book "Al-Tamhid" and his book "Al-Istadkar" and Al-Baji (493 AH) through his book "Al-Muntaqa fi Sharh Al-Muwatta", yet Al-Mahalla imposed its presence in the list of distinguished jurisprudential works in terms of method and content, until Al-Izz Ibn Abd al-Salam said about it ( Al-Shafi'i al-Madhhab) said: "What I have seen in the books of Islam in science, such as al-Mahalla by Ibn Hazm and al-Mughni by Ibn Quddamah, and the axis to which this intervention belongs is the third axis: the methods of authorship adopted in the sciences of transmission during the 5th and 6th centuries AH. The problem can be summarized as follows: What are the features of the method of composing the locality adopted by Ibn Hazm al-Dhaheri? What is its scientific status, ancient and modern, in the field of jurisprudential classification? Following the analytical and inductive methods according to the following plan: The first topic: A brief overview of Ibn Haram al-Dhaheri. The second topic: Jurisprudential Composition in Andalusia during the Fifth Century AH. The Third Topic: Introducing the Book "Al-Mahalla" by Ibn Hazm. Fourth Topic: The Milestones of the Method Adopted by Ibn Hazm in Composing Al-Mahalla. Conclusion. List of Sources and References.
