A Hadith Jurisprudence Study of Hadiths with a Single Narrator in Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah and Ibn Hibban
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research presents a hadith and jurisprudential study of the hadiths narrated by female Companions. The focus was on a specific group of female Companions known for narrating a single hadith, as recorded in two hadith collections: Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah and Sahih Ibn Hibban. The study involved tracing the chains of narration of these hadiths, comparing their texts, and supporting these narrations by citing corroborating evidence from other hadith books. This was followed by deriving the jurisprudential rulings and presenting scholars' opinions on some disputed issues, with a preference for the stronger opinion where possible. The research concludes with a final section outlining the most important findings and recommendations.
