Abstract

This study aimed to examine Artificial Intelligence and the Reshaping of Human Society: A Sociological Approach to Value and Social Transformations. It sought to identify the social transformations brought about by artificial intelligence in the structure of human society and patterns of interaction among its members. It also analyzed how artificial intelligence has contributed to reshaping the system of social and cultural values in contemporary societies, explored the most significant social, cultural, and ethical challenges imposed by artificial intelligence on individuals and social institutions, and evaluated the extent to which artificial intelligence contributes to building a more integrated and balanced human society that combines technological advancement with the preservation of human and social values. The study adopted the descriptive method due to its suitability for achieving the objectives of the research. The study reached the following findings: -Artificial intelligence has contributed to significant social transformations in the structure of human society by developing patterns of communication and social interaction and enhancing reliance on digital media across various aspects of daily life. -Artificial intelligence has played a prominent role in reshaping the system of social and cultural values by promoting the values of speed, innovation, and digital efficiency, while also bringing noticeable changes to certain traditional values and social relationships. -Artificial intelligence poses multiple social, cultural, and ethical challenges, including issues related to privacy, information security, the widening digital divide, the decline of some forms of direct human interaction, and concerns regarding the ethical responsibility of intelligent systems. -Artificial intelligence possesses considerable potential to contribute to the development of a more integrated and balanced society through supporting development and improving quality of life and services. However, achieving this requires the establishment of ethical and legislative frameworks that ensure a balance between technological progress and the preservation of human and social values.
