Main Article Content
Abstract
The short story is one of the literary genres of narrative and storytelling. It achieves an artistic structure that distinguishes it from the novel and the traditional tale. As an artistic form, the short story employs all the elements of narrative logic that govern the act of storytelling, including plot organization, the system of motivations, and characterization. It also encompasses everything related to narrative discourse, such as the narration itself, the time of the story, its structure, and its narrative style.
