Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of social work in reducing social and psychological problems among secondary school female students in the city of Zawiya. The study sample consisted of (120) female students. The researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire to collect data from the study sample. The study reached the following results: -The professional methods used by social work to reduce social and psychological problems among female students were found to be at a moderate level. -The most prominent social problems facing secondary school female students were found to be at a moderate level. -The most prominent psychological problems facing secondary school female students were found to be at a moderate level. -There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the most prominent social and psychological problems facing secondary school female students according to the variable of (academic stage), and the differences were in favor of the study sample members who were studying in the (third stage).
