Abstract
Maritime piracy is considered one of the internationally prohibited crimes under international law. The legal framework governing this crime grants all states the right to pursue ,and prosecute pirates as piracy is regarded as an offense against the international community and the Security of maritime navigation it is one of oldest maritime crimes and Continuous to re_emerge in different forms,with pirate groups becoming Increasingly organized and capable .the spread of maritime piracy has been ex-ah cerebrated by weak stat institution and deteriorating security Conditions in the same African countries , particulate Somalia where the Lack of effective government control over armed groups has facilitated The growth of piracy.
