The impact of Social responsibility on achieving sustainable Economic development

Abstract
This research aims to identify social responsibility and economic sustainable development, as well as the impact of social responsibility on achieving this development. This exploration may contribute to effective planning and implementation for the Zawiya Oil Refinery Company and oil companies in general. A descriptive analytical approach was utilized, with a study sample of (19) employees representing (100%) of the research community. A questionnaire was distributed to the participants, leading to several key findings. Social responsibility is considered a voluntary ethical commitment by the institution towards all stakeholders, including shareholders, consumers, and clients. Sustainable development is defined as a process that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The research also found a statistically significant effect at a significance level of (0.05) between social responsibility and the economic dimension of sustainable development for Zawiya Oil Refinery Company. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for Zawiya Oil Refinery to enhance transparency and socially responsible practices while maintaining its positive orientation towards quality and contributing to local economic development.
