Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of using NotebookLM in organizing knowledge and developing interactive teaching strategies among students of the Faculty of Medical Technology at Wadi Al-Shati University, in light of the rapid transformations in higher education driven by the integration of artificial intelligence. The study addressed the lack of research in the Libyan context and adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology using an electronic questionnaire consisting of 34 items distributed across six dimensions, applied to a purposive sample of 82 students. The validity and reliability results indicated that the instrument had a high degree of internal consistency, enhancing the credibility of the findings. Results showed that the overall mean score was (4.02), a high level reflecting strong positive attitudes toward the application, with the “knowledge organization” dimension ranked first, while the “usage barriers” dimension was the lowest with a mean of (2.43). The study concluded that NotebookLM is an effective tool for improving the quality of university learning and enhancing classroom interaction, while emphasizing the need for continuous technical support and training to ensure sustainable use in the Libyan context.
