Abstract
The researcher conducted a study that addressed academic learning difficulties and their relationship to low academic achievement among normal children from the point of view of teachers of the first third grades in the year 2018/2019. The study aimed to identify the academic learning difficulties facing students and their relationship to low achievement. The sample was male and female teachers in some schools in the city of Zliten ،and to determine the nature of the relationship between this problem ،academic learning difficulties ،and their relationship to low achievement. The total community was (180) and the sample number was (60) male and female teachers who answered the study tool. The researcher used statistical methods: Cronbach's alpha coefficient ،partial half ،frequencies ،percentages ،arithmetic mean ،standard deviation ،t-test ،and significance of differences between two samples. The researcher reached the most important statistical results ،which are: Through statistical analysis using the SPSS system ،the following results can be extracted: 1-There is a positive relationship between academic learning difficulties and low academic achievement at a statistical significance level of (0.05). 2-There is a high level of academic learning difficulties at a statistical significance level of (0.05) in the research sample. 3-There are statistically significant differences at a level of (0.05) in learning difficulties according to the gender variable between males and females and in favor of males. 4--There are no statistically significant differences at a level of (0.05) in the low level of academic achievement according to the gender variable between males and females and in favor of males in the research sample.
