Abstract

Research Tools in Library and Information Studies: Institutional Digital Repositories and Their Role in Enhancing Scholarly Communication: A Case Study (The Digital Repository at the University of Tripoli) The study examines an important topic, which is considered one of the most important topics that has received the attention of researchers and scholars in research tools in libraries and information, namely the topic of institutional digital repositories and their role in scientific research, especially in universities and at the University of Tripoli in particular, as the university was keen to make the establishment of a digital repository for the contents of the studies and research it conducts a priority for its scientific work, and the study dealt with the emergence of the repository, its characteristics, advantages, and all the technical aspects that characterize it.
