The University's Role in Promoting Intellectual Security for Students "University of Tobruk as a Model"

Abstract
The current research aims to: define the conceptual framework of intellectual security, its dimensions and threats, and identify the role of faculty members at the University of Tobruk in enhancing the intellectual security of its students, as well as identifying the role of the curricula at the University of Tobruk in enhancing the intellectual security of students, as well as monitoring and identifying the obstacles that hinder the university in achieving And enhancing the intellectual security of its students, in addition to reaching proposals through which the role of the University of Tobruk can be activated in enhancing the intellectual security of its students. ?, This research belongs to the analytical descriptive research pattern, so the researcher used the analytical descriptive method and the social survey method using the sample, relying on the (questionnaire) tool as a tool for data collection, And through a random sample of students from the University of Tobruk from the Faculty of Arts, with a sample number of (58) student. The research reached several results through which some proposals were put forward. The results were that university professors deal with teaching many issues that are related to social values, as well as curricula that establish the concepts of moral education among students, and the lack of courses and student activities that occupy students may be among the Obstacles to the role of the university in promoting intellectual security. Among the most important proposals was the inclusion of the concepts of intellectual security in the school curricula in general, and the Arabic language curricula in particular and for all grades. And work to instill loyalty and belonging among students by organizing visits to community centers and institutions in various locations and highlighting students’ participation in national events, as well as educating students about the dangers of extremism and promoting the values of moderation, tolerance and moderation among students through curricula and educational and educational activities; And the need to participate in the preparation of a comprehensive national strategy to achieve intellectual security to be adopted by the university faculty members
