Abstract
This research highlights the most important ideas of the scholar Ibn Khaldun and his critical and scientific approach to writing history and the scientific basis. Cognitive and culturalY...and also Ibn Khaldun's political and social experience enabled him to look at history from a scientific and critical perspective that was broader than the apparent and traditional concept of history associated with recording and documenting events and facts. That is why the subject of history was at the heart of the Khaldunian problem. This criticism, which he carried out on a methodological basis according to scientific rules, would be a new basis for conceptualizing history as well as historical writing. Therefore, criticizing the flaws of history opens the way for reconsideration of it. This is what contemporary Arab intellectual projects seek.
