Abstract

This research aims to study the concept of the Maqasid interpretation of the Noble
Qur’an, by dealing with it with definition, analysis and discussion. It also aims to highlight its most important types and importance, as this work represents a base for rooting this type in contemporary exegesis. It also provides a clear and in-depth picture of it, which contributes to its definition. And clarification of some of its features. The analytical method was used to elaborate the term and its pillars, and to explain the types of objectives and their importance. The research exposed some practical applications that show how Ibn al-Arabi acquired the components of the maqasid interpretation of the Qur’an. The research concluded with a number of results, the most prominent of which was:That the meaning of the objectives of the Qur’an are the main and original themes around which the Qur’an revolves, taking into account the secrets, judgment and goals that the Qur’an was revealed in order to achieve. Bringing interests and pushing evil. And that the Qur’anic objectives represent a major component of the Maqasid interpretation, through which the interpreter can make exegesis a starting point for demonstrating the sweetness of the Qur’anic text and its effectiveness in the development and preservation of society.
