Abstract
Strategic intelligence is information that is needed to formulate policy and plans at the international and national policy levels. This study aimed to find out the reality and influence of crisis management in Libya Insurance Company in Misrata based on the respondents’ opinions. The study followed the descriptive-analytical approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire for a random sample consists of 42 respondents who are representing managers and head officers of the departments in the company. The results of the study revealed that strategic intelligence has a significant impact on crisis management in the company. Where the level of crisis management in Libya Insurance Company is superior and there is a high correlation between strategic intelligence and crisis management in the company. The study recommended the necessity of advanced capacity building programs on crisis management for the senior staff of the company, establishing an effective communication system that includes the necessary information about the internal and external environment, expected crises, and how to deal with them in a scientific way, paying attention to comparative studies in the field of crises and developing and enhancing awareness and culture of strategic intelligence through special programs for crisis management.
