Musical Composition in Sufi Poetry: Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani – A Case Study

Abstract
Praise be to Allah, by whose grace all righteous deeds are accomplished, and peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions. This study examines the musical structure in the Sufi poetry of Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, highlighting its role in expressing mystical meanings and spiritual experience. It demonstrates how poetic musicality, through its rhythmic and phonetic patterns, enhances the aesthetic quality and emotional impact of his poetry, reflecting the depth of his Sufi vision. The study is entitled The Musical Structure in Sufi Poetry: Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani as a Model. We ask Allah to grant benefit and acceptance to this work. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
