The Qur'anic Style in the Story of Adam (Peace Be Upon Him)

Abstract

This study examines the Qur'anic style in narrating the story of Adam (peace be upon him) by exploring the diversity of Qur'anic expression and the unity of its purpose across different passages. It highlights the rhetorical significance of lexical and structural variation in relation to context, demonstrating how these variations serve theological, educational, and literary objectives. The study also draws upon the works of Qur'anic exegetes and rhetoricians to reveal aspects of the Qur'an's stylistic inimitability.
