Parenting Styles and Their Relationship with School Bullying among Secondary School Students at (Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School)

Abstract
The study aimed to identify parenting styles and their relationship with school bullying among secondary school students at (Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School). The study sample consisted of (146) female students, representing (21%). The study adopted the descriptive analytical method, and a questionnaire was used to collect data from the study sample. The study reached the following results: -The level of parenting styles in the democratic dimension among secondary school students at Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School was high. -The level of parenting styles in the authoritarian dimension among secondary school students at Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School was high. -The level of school bullying behavior in the verbal dimension among secondary school students at Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School was moderate. -The level of school bullying behavior in the physical dimension among secondary school students at Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School was moderate. -There was a statistically significant inverse correlation at the significance level (0.01) between parenting styles and school bullying behavior among secondary school students at Al-Amal Secondary School and Al-Zawiya Girls’ Secondary School.
