Positive Thinking and Its Relationship to the Level of Ambition Among Students of the Faculty of Education

Abstract
The research aimed to reveal the relationship between positive thinking and the level of ambition among students of the Faculty of Education in Janzour, in addition to verifying the differences in positive thinking and the level of ambition according to the gender variable (males - females), and the department (scientific - literary), and to identify the possibility of predicting the level of ambition from positive thinking among students of the Faculty of Education. The research sample consisted of (150) students from the Faculty of Education in Janzour, University of Tripoli, whose ages ranged between (19 - 22) years with an average age of (21.41) and a standard deviation of (1.23), including (50) males and (100) females, including (70) in the scientific department and (80) in the literary department. To collect data, the scales of positive thinking and the level of ambition were prepared, and the results showed the presence of a direct relationship with statistical significance at a significance level of (0.01) between positive thinking and the level of ambition among students of the Faculty of Education, and the presence of statistically significant differences at a significance level of (0.01) in positive thinking. The level of ambition in light of the gender variables (males - females) is in favor of the female sample, and the department (scientific - literary) is in favor of the scientific department, and that the level of ambition can be predicted from positive thinking among students of the College of Education.
